In 1926 Toyoda Sakichi, the father of Toyoda
Kiichirô, founded Toyoda
Loom Works, Ltd.. Toyoda
Kiichirô made the decision to branch Toyoda Loom Works into
automobiles. Kiichirô created what become Toyota
Motor Corporation in Koromo, a town which is today called Toyota. He
resigned from the company in 1948
and passed away four years later.
