Tôhoku
("north-east") is the
north-eathern region on the main island of Honshû, the Sea of Japan in the west,
the Pazific Ocean in the east and the Tsuruga Straits in the
north.
There are 10 millions people living in Tôhoku and the area
includes six prefectures: Akita,
Aomori, Fukushima, Iwate, Miyagi und Yamagata.
